New Trash Program moving ahead - requests for 65-gal carts (in place of standard 95-gal) being taken
As part of a new semi-automated municipal solid waste program, a free 95-gallon cart will be delivered to your home by the City in late fall/early winter UNLESS you call Public Works at 813.506.6560 by Oct. 31 to request a smaller 65-gallon cart.
A new semi-automated municipal solid waste initiative is coming to Temple Terrace. As part of this program, a 95-gallon cart will be delivered to residences serviced by the City free-of-charge in late fall / early winter UNLESS you call Public Works at 813.506.6560 by October 31 to request the smaller 65-gallon cart. (These are the only two sizes available.) No action is required to receive the 95-gallon version. You may begin to use the carts upon receipt.
You also may request an additional 95- or 65-gallon cart by calling Public Works at 813.506.6560. A $75 charge for the second cart will be added to your utility bill upon delivery.
You may repurpose your old cans for disposing of yard waste - no bag required. Or call Public Works at 813.506.6560 to make arrangements for the City to pick them up at no charge.
