Do the Right Thing!

Student Recognition & Reward Program
In a continuing effort to promote good citizenship among the youth of our community the Temple Terrace Police Department would like to invite you to participate in the Do the Right Thing program. This terrific program is designed to encourage honesty, integrity and strong moral character in students of all ages by publicly recognizing and rewarding students for exemplary conduct, outstanding deeds and other worthy accomplishments.

You are encouraged to nominate students each month of the school year to be recognized for making positive choices and doing the right things. Nominees may include students who are currently enrolled in any Temple Terrace area school or who are participating in a home-school program within the Temple Terrace community. Each month, up to twenty students will be selected as finalists, and one finalist will be selected as the overall monthly winner.

In order to recognize as many students as possible and reinforce good deeds and positive behavior, all finalists will receive a Certificate of Recognition and a Do the Right Thing
T-shirt. The overall winner will be recognized before the Temple Terrace City Council and receive an age-appropriate gift bag. Your participation is critical to the success of this program. Please nominate a student each month whose exemplary behavior, outstanding deed or other worthy accomplishment deserves special recognition.
