Observed Holidays
There is no residential garbage or recycling collection on official city holidays, which are:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Spring Holiday (the Friday before Easter)
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day (and in some years, Christmas Eve)
Note that in the event the official holiday falls on a Saturday, the observed day will be on Friday. If the official holiday fall on a Sunday, the observed day will be on Monday.
