Responsibilities The Information Technology Department is an internal service department which administers all City of Temple Terrace technology and computer functions. Our responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and management of all hardware and software. We oversee the security of electronic data and computer hardware as well as provide direction in the research, development, and implementation of new or enhanced technology solutions.
Additionally, we perform internal help desk assistance regarding the troubleshooting and repair of city computer hardware and software. While our main hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, we also provide 24/7 on-call support for Police and Fire Department personnel.
Our support coverage extends to eight city facilities with over 300 users, 250 personal computing devices, 30 servers, and an internal telephone and telecommunication system.
