Utility Billing / Customer Service
Responsibilities
Customer Service is available to answer questions regarding water, sewer, and sanitation services provided by the City of Temple Terrace.
The Customer Service Department is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Customers can use the payment kiosk inside City Hall until 5pm or access the drop box outside of City Hall to make payments 24/7. New accounts are opened daily until 4pm.

Please note: the Utilities Department is currently converting all meters to radio read meters in an effort to increase reading accuracy. For more information, please call General Inquiries at 813.506.6420.

Please be aware that your e-bill from the City of Temple Terrace will now be sent from the mailbox: DONOTREPLY@TEMPLETERRACE.GOV. Make sure this is added to your valid mailbox to ensure receiving your next bill. If you have any questions, please email Customer Service and we will assist you.

WATER AND SEWER IMPACT FEES
An impact (aka Improvement) fee is a fee assessed to each new customer connecting to the Temple Terrace utility system. This fee covers the proportionate cost of general system improvements required to serve the new customer. RESIDENTIAL
A typical single-family new residential connection would cost $2,750 for water and $2,569 for sewer plus connection fees.
SENIOR CITIZEN SOLID WASTE DISCOUNT APPLICATION
Applications must be submitted to Temple Terrace Customer Service.
COMMERCIAL
Each connection is different, basic fees for a 5/8-inch meter is the same as residential. The city collects the Tampa component of the sewer and remits to Tampa. For more details, contact Engineering at 813.506.6570.
